Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these systems designed for?

Talent Team Performing Arts™ systems are designed for dance studios, musical theater programs, performing arts schools, community programs, and directors who want stronger training, healthier culture, clearer systems, and sustainable growth.

Whether you are starting, strengthening, or expanding a program, these systems are designed to help.

How is Talent Team different from other performing arts programs?

Most programs offer disconnected ideas or one-size-fits-all solutions.

Talent Team provides an integrated ecosystem of systems designed to work together — from training and leveling to leadership, growth, engagement, and classroom culture.

They sell pieces. We sell peace.

Is the Triple Threat System just dancing to Broadway songs?

No.

The Triple Threat System™ is true performance-based training where students learn to sing, dance, and act together. Students develop real stage skills, confidence, professionalism, and performance readiness through integrated musical theater training.

It can function as a standalone program or become a major revenue stream within an existing studio.

Will these systems work in my existing studio?

Yes.

Talent Team systems are designed to strengthen what you already do — not replace your studio identity.

Whether you teach dance, musical theater, or multiple performing arts disciplines, the systems are flexible enough to integrate into existing programs while bringing more structure, clarity, and consistency.

What exactly is included in Talent Team systems?

Talent Team Performing Arts™ offers premium training and leadership systems designed for performing arts programs and studios.

Depending on the system, resources may include:

✓ Comprehensive manuals
✓ Training frameworks
✓ Leveling systems
✓ Rehearsal and classroom tools
✓ Communication and leadership strategies
✓ Growth and retention resources
✓ Curriculum support and implementation guidance

Some systems function as standalone solutions, while others are designed to work together as part of a complete studio ecosystem.

Do I have to buy and/or implement everything at once?

Not at all.

Many studio owners begin with one system — such as Dance Elite™, Triple Threat™, or the Studio Director’s Handbook™ — and expand over time.

Each system stands alone, but they are intentionally designed to work together.

“Highly Recommend”

We had four children (ages 4, 7, 13 and 16) involved in Talent Team.  Our 16 year old daughter started in Nancy Genys’s program when she turned three.  We love this non-auditioned program that allows every child to develop talents and confidence in a positive environment.  The theme, music and choreography of each show are uplifting and age appropriate.

Because of Talent Team each of our four children can dance, sing or speak in front of an audience with confidence.  They learn flexibility as they adapted to frequent and varied performance venues.  They learn cooperation, commitment and team work because Talent Team is just that – a TEAM.  And, they have made great friends.

Our family has also participated in the international tours Talent Team offers.  Preparing for an international tour requires a new level of commitment, but the rewards are phenomenal!  Our whole family participated in the New Zealand and Australia 2000 tour.  We are all looking forward to the England & France tour in 2003.  We love Talent Team and recommend it every chance we get.

“Transformational”

As both a teacher and a parent of kiddos in Talent Team, I have had the opportunity to see the transformation of many through the program. Of course, these kids are receiving instruction in basic music theory, singing, and dancing. However, they are also learning essential life skills such as public speaking, teamwork, frustration tolerance, listening skills, and more.

I have watched my own kids grow dramatically over the past couple of years. My youngest has improved his speech and vocabulary and loves to randomly break into song. My other son has always loved singing and dancing and eagerly looks forward to being involved in as many songs as he can. He has developed memorization and speaking skills as well improving his performance abilities. Finally, my daughter is a gifted girl that tends to have most things come easily to her. Being in Talent Team provides fresh challenges for her each semester which help her grow both as a performer and a person. In particular, she has had to learn resilience, frustration tolerance, to be adaptive, and how to better work with others. She has gone from completely shutting down when presented with something new to just last semester pushing through learning a difficult new style of dance without a major breakdown.

I am grateful for what this program has done for my children, the kids of this community, and myself as well.

“Blown Away”

I first heard about Talent Team from a friend who was one of the co -teachers. She was singing in one of the shows and I came to watch and support her. I was BLOWN AWAY!!! It was incredibly well done!

Last Christmas she asked if id like to be Elizabeth (mother of John from the Bible) for their show in December. I was overjoyed as I relate to Elizabeth's story. It was an incredible blessing to be a part of the production. After that I was hooked.

I greatly appreciate the Christian morals and values it instils in the kids and the positive and inspiring message it brings. I had the opportunity to work with the younger children and take an active singing role in the spring "Shine" production.  I was going though a very depressing time and being apart of Talent team helped me hold onto my faith in Jesus Christ and  to "move keep walking" and to " keep fighting the good fight" as two of the songs say.

Nancy and all the teachers do an amazing job w the kids. It teaches them preforming, team work and good social life skills in an uplifting, positive and fun environment. Its been a God send for me and brings me much Joy.  ~Erin C.

“Uplifting, Inclusive, Playful and Clean”

Talent Team’s summer camp was an affordable, low-commitment way for our daughter to stretch beyond her comfort zone, get a taste of performing arts, and develop people skills that have been a blessing to her. Everything they do is uplifting, inclusive, playful, and clean. We appreciate their contributions to our community!

“Love Talent Team!”

My daughter loved the choreography, singing and the many friends she made in the group. Talent Team helped give her the confidence to try harder choreography with the older students (she would happily stay all day and work on dances). She was out of her comfort zone when she initially started to speak in a microphone, but she got quite good with practice. My two sons ended up joining after my daughter and they were all very much part of the Talent Team family and loved it. ~T Beggarly

“Talent Team Has Great Shows!”

Before we moved here, my daughter had been wanting to participate in some kind of singing and dancing program, but we hadn’t found the right fit.  When I learned Nancy and Gin were starting up Talent Team, I thought this just might be the right fit, and it definitely was!  My daughter has loved participating in Talent Team.  She would practice the songs and dances all through the week.  It really gave her a chance to develop those talents and interests she has.  Nancy and Gin have so much experience too.  They sure can put together a great show! ~Rachelle H.

“A Great Opportunity”

Taken team has been a great opportunity for me to be a part of and a great group where everyone seems to know everyone and nobody gets left out. It’s been really fun getting a chance to be in the spotlight and seeing other talent teamers getting that chance too. Unlike most productions I’ve been in where it’s really hard to get a good part. I’ve learned a lot in singing and dancing, speaking and expanding my capabilities to do so. Nancy has been such a blessing to me, pushing me to do better and keep trying and going even when really hard things were happening in her life. Talent team is an awesome place for kids to sing and dance for God and have fun with it too. I hope more and more people decide to be a part of the Talent Team family. ~Chavvah
