I worked side by side with Nancy in her Talent Team program and was continually amazed at the brilliance of what she created. When I later started my own Talent Team program, I quickly enrolled dozens of children and youth because Nancy had built a system that was comprehensive, easy to follow, and created a wholesome, non-competitive environment that families absolutely loved.

I've work with Nancy on several creative ventures, using the Talent Team approach. I truly appreciate and believe in her concept of creating a positive environment for everyone to excel - instructors as well. By teaching through a curriculum based in her organized skill development, my students were able to understand the system for growth. Whenever they were ready to take that next step, they were comfortable enough to find the support all around. What we created was a family.

I would like to whole heartedly recommend Talent Team to your school. Nancy and her team ran a 6 week after school program for our 2nd through 6th graders which weas fantastic. The children were engaged and learned new things. they were excited every week to go to the class. They even managed to produce a wonderful show including costumes and costume changes! Her teachers had a kind but firm approach with the children which was perfect. They always arrived at school early so everything was set up ready to go when the children arrived after class. They had a variety of children in age and performing ability and without a doubt got the best out of them all. As a school we are so glad we have found the Talent Team group and have already signed on with them to teach more grades next quarter.

It was my pleasure to serve as the director of Nevada Youth Performers from August 1998 to June of 2008. During that ten year period we taught performing arts and musical theater to hundreds of children ages 3 thru 18 at community centers, schools, and recreation centers in Southern Nevada. Talent Team was the exclusive provider of our curriculum. Talent Team is a complete curriculum that teaches all aspects of performing arts so I never had to supplement the program. Each themed show teaches age appropriate music and choreography. In addition, the students learn proper vocal technique, microphone work, and general stage presence through a variety of carefully selected games (many of them created by Nancy to teach specific concepts) and musical activities. The program is so flexible it can be adapted for use in a recreational after school program, a week long camp, or a touring group. I used Talent Team for each of these things and found it equally successful. I watched repeatedly as children with varying degrees of experience progressed through the program developing self confidence through achievement. Even children who participate for a short time, learn to speak, sing, and dance in front of a group with confidence. Nancy’s teacher training program assures quality and consistency when paired with the complete curriculum and themed shows provided for each session. As a director I appreciated the quality, support and professionalism of Talent Team, but for the students it is just fun. The classes are fun and the performances are fun. The parents are always amazed and pleased with how much the children learn in a short period of time. The positive experience leads to customer loyalty and a low turn over in students. I whole heartedly recommend the Talent Team Performing Arts Program.

Talent Team Performing Arts was one of our Community Education classes offered through the University of Idaho beginning in 1994. This was a new kind of class for us to offer and quickly became our largest program. Students came from surrounding areas to attend Nancy's programs. I highly recommend Talent Team Performing Arts.
